Obsolete Parts Solutions
As government components continue to age, they
became increasingly more difficult to sustain
due to non-availability of parts or sources
that have no longer exist. THI provides a range
of obsolete parts and solutions, including location
of alternate vendors, reclamation, repair, lifetime
buys, F3I substitution, reverse engineering
and redesign.
Component Sustainability Analysis
Government and commercial systems are often
required to perform long past their projected
lifetimes, but in many cases the lifetime of
a component is unknown prior to its installation.
Our technical staff will analyze mission history,
service conditions, load factors, flow analysis
and total ownership costs to calculate reliability
and sustainability trade-offs for parts and
systems.
Technical Data Package Development
For many systems where data is not available,
our division will create new Level III TDPs
for manufacturing purposes. We will reverse-engineer
circuit cards, modules or components by utilizing
tools such as PSPICE for circuit analysis and
ORCAD or TANGO for card layout. For mechanical
data packages, we will reverse-engineer components
by utilizing a metallurgical lab to determine
material properties, coordinate measuring machines
to determine dimensions and use programs like
ProEngineer or SolidWorks to create 3-D models.
ATE/TPS Development
As test equipment becomes more difficult to
maintain, hardware and software will need to
be updated or redesigned. Our company can provide
support of your ATE systems by redesigning hardware
components, reverse engineering CCAs, solving
DMS problems and building test stations. We
can also assist with your TPS software by porting
over old modules, creating emulations or writing
new TPS code.
IT Support
THI has a number of information technology specialists
on board who can solve your IT problems. Our
staff and associates have C++, lab windows,
HTML, XML, Fortran and other software language
programming capabilities. We can also provide
extensive database experience in ORACLE, Sybase,
SQL Server, Access and other similar systems.
